Screening or Assessment?

Is a Screening Right for You?

A full clinical assessment costs around £2,000 and is usually only needed to access medication.

Our remote professional Screening is often enough.

It gives you immediate personal clarity, deep insight into how your unique mind works, and official documentation required for workplace or study support.

Real Stories of Support & Clarity

Some examples of how our Screenings have helped other people.

Sarah, 48, Glasgow

Going through perimenopause made my focus and brain fog so much worse, and I was really struggling to keep up at work. This screening helped me untangle what was going on. Having the letter made speaking to HR far less intimidating, and we have already set up flexitime / wfh.

Callum, 22, University Student, Dundee

Uni was getting to be a struggle with deadlines. Getting the report was a game changer. It helped me understand how my brain works. i gave the letter to my disability support team and they gave me extra time on exams and extensions.

Sam, 26, Edinburgh

I have struggled to get support from my gp and I found school hard. I booked a supported screening, and I was really nervous. Alison was so friendly and patient. The entire appointment felt completely safe, respectful, and affirming. The report gave me the exact words I needed to explain my daily struggles to my parents and my GP without feeling like I was constantly defending who I am.

Priya, 31, Project Lead, Manchester

I couldn’t afford the massive price tag for a full clinical assessment right now, but I desperately needed clarity. This screening was straightforward, affordable, and deeply validating. The ideas in the support leaflet have genuinely changed how I organise my working day. I now get Fridays off.

Fraser, 51, Tradesperson, Aberdeen

I spent years thinking I was just useless at staying on top of daily life. Getting this done took a huge weight off my shoulders. It was clear, straightforward, and reading my cognitive profile felt like someone was finally explaining how I operate. I’ve stopped being so hard on myself and my wife understands me better.

Jamie, 18, Fife

I spent my last couple of years at school feeling constantly overstimulated, overwhelmed, and like I couldn’t keep up. Taking this step took a huge weight off my shoulders. Having the official summary letter meant I could ask for support at my new job right from day one without feeling awkward.

Meet our Director - dedicated to supporting you

Alison Barr

Having spent 25 years as a Psychotherapist working across mental health and neurodiversity, I know how difficult accessing support can be.

Long NHS waiting lists and steep private fees mean people often can’t get answers when they need them most.

I launched this dedicated screening service to bridge that gap.

I’m delighted to say that my colleagues and I have supported over 2500 people to gain practical clarity and secure essential adjustments at work and study, without the long wait, or the big price tag.

We are a collective of Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists. You are in safe hands with us.

Alison Barr, Director

Our Commitment to You

We know that taking the first step towards understanding your mind can feel overwhelming. We are dedicated to providing a clear, supportive, and completely confidential experience from start to finish.
